UNITED KINGDOM (WKZO AM/FM) – It was a working weekend for Governor Snyder who is on a European tour, with business leaders from the state, trying to drum up investment and jobs in Michigan.
This weekend in England he visited the British Motor Museum’s exhibit of Henry Ford documents and vehicles. He was in Austria on Friday and heads for Germany on Monday.
The Governor’s passport is a well worn document.
Over the past 7 years he has made trips to France, Japan, South Korea, Canada, China, Brazil, Mexico, Israel, Chile, Columbia, India, Switzerland, Italy, and Ireland.
He claims the missions have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars of investments in Michigan by foreign companies adding thousands of jobs to Michigan’s workforce
