KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Once again Kalamazoo’s K-9 patrol has been critical to catching the bad guys.
Kalamazoo Public Safety was dispatched just after midnight Friday morning to the report of a mugging at the intersection of West Michigan and Westmoreland Avenues.
The victim says he was confronted by two young males who punched him and took his backpack and fled on foot westbound.
PSO’s set up a perimeter and brought in a K-9, who was not only able to track down the two suspects who robbed the victim, but a third suspect as well.
The three, aged 18,19, and 22 are being held at the Kalamazoo County Jail on unarmed robbery charges and outstanding warrants, pending arraignment.
