KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — Icy roads and blowing snow are to blame for a number of slide offs and crashes Tuesday morning.
Kalamazoo County sheriff deputies were called to N 12th Street between D Avenue and B Avenue in Cooper Township just after 6 a.m. Tuesday to find multiple vehicles involved in a crash.
First responders say a pedestrian was hit after they stopped to assist a vehicle that rolled onto its side.
The victim was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
Authorities are still investigating the incident.
