ALAMO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) –They will be assessing the damage at the Club Car Grille on D. Avenue in Alamo Township where they were cooking up more than just breakfast Saturday morning.
A fire in a section of the rear addition to the restaurant forced the evacuation of the place, and spread smoke through the facility, which uses antique railroad cars as dining areas.
That section of the restaurant was spared. It’s too early to tell whether they will be able to rebuild. There were no reported injuries. The cause remains under invetigation.
