KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — For the second time in a month a branch of Lake Michigan Credit Union on Kalamazoo’s northeast side has been robbed.
The thief walked into the lending institution in the 3,300 block of Gull Road at about 4:40 p.m. Tuesday, asked for cash, got it, and left on foot.
There was no mention of a weapon in the news release.
Public Safety says the robber was wearing a dark mask, a grey hooded sweatshirt with a neon green Nike logo, dark colored pants and black Nike shoes with a white logo. He was carrying a black sling style backpack for the loot.
