BEDFORD TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — The Calhoun County Elections Commission has approved the language on a petition seeking the recall and replacement of Bedford Township Supervisor Adam Heikkila.
He is charged with unprofessional and intimidating behavior, failure to keep regular office hours, creating a hostile work environment and telling staff to dismiss an ordinance violation against him.
Heikkila has 10 days to appeal. If no appeal is filed or it’s denied, the petitioner will have 60-days to collect 734 valid signatures from registered township voters to force a recall vote.
