DEARBORN (WKZO AM/FM) — AAA of Michigan says gas prices are virtually unchanged over the last week in Michigan, at $2.69/gallon despite an 8-cent rise in the average price nationally.
National pollster Trilby Lundberg says we may be at or near the peak for this season after they have seen an 8-cent increase nationally over the last two weeks.
But she says they have also seen crude oil decline in price over the last week.
Lundberg says another spike is unlikely because supplies are plentiful and refineries are running at just 93% of capacity. The Midwest has the second largest inventory in the country.
