OSHTEMO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Four people were taken to the hospital after a mini-van was rear-ended and sent careening through a diesel pump at a Speedway station in Oshtemo Thursday evening.
Kalamazoo County Deputies say it happened at the corner of Stadium Drive and Fairgrove Street just after 7 p.m. A large SUV smacked the mini-van from behind and into the gas station.
The first SUV then smashed into a power pole.
There was no fire at the Speedway, the pumps were quickly switched off.
All of the occupants of the two vehicles were transported to emergency rooms, some with serious injuries.
It remains under investigation and charges may be sought.
