KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Public Safety Officers responding to multiple reports of shots fired in an Apartment complex along West Michigan at Jack Pine Way, revealed a drug house where college students who live in the area could buy LSD, Marijuana and various edible cannabis products.
Apparently one of the five people who were at the drug house thought it might be a fun idea to go out in the parking lot and fire off a few rounds early Easter morning.
One of the other tenants saw the apartment the gunman returned to and told responding officers.
The officers were denied entry into the unit, so they got a search warrant and went inside anyway, where they found drugs and a gun.
They arrested a 21-year-old male for reckless discharge of a firearm and various drug counts.
A 25-year-old was arrested for operating a drug house and a 21-year-old female was arrested for possession of marijuana.
Charges are pending against two others.
