VAN BUREN COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) — Like Cinderella, all he left behind was a shoe.
Unlike Cinderella, he also left a wrecked motorbike, and it isn’t a Prince who is anxious to find him.
Van Buren County Sheriff’s Deputies say they tried to pull the speeding red Kawasaki over for speeding, and began a pursuit, but quickly broke it off for safety sake.
A short time later they came upon his wrecked bike in a cornfield at CR 358 and 70th Ave.
The only other trace the biker had been there was an Air Jordan sneaker.
They are asking for the public’s help to connect the person with the shoe and the bike.
A K-9 track was attempted but failed.
