BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — Battle Creek Community Activist Bobby Holley plans to crawl from Battle Creek to Galesburg on Monday. It will be his third protest of gun violence and anti-bullying in schools.
It will also be to honor the memory of two shooting victims, 22-year-old Joseph Bowser, a WMU Student and Battle Creek Central Grad who was just buried Friday, and Frankie Zanetti who was shot and killed by a relative nearly two years ago.
The protest crawl will begin at Zanetti’s tile and mosaic business in Urbandale at 10am.
Holley hiked from Battle Creek to Lansing a month ago, and crawled From Battle Creek to Marshall a year ago to raise money for similar causes.
