BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) — Jealousy is the apparent motive for a violent outburst that has landed a Battle Creek woman in the Calhoun County Jail facing multiple charges.
Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Clover Lane Thursday after a woman called saying she was being attacked by her boyfriend’s ex-girlfriend. She claimed the angry woman smashed out her window with a metal object, chased her around when she tried to get away, intentionally ramming her car with her own.
She also allegedly pepper-sprayed her ex-boyfriend when he tried to calm her down.
The suspect denied it, but was handcuffed for Felonious Assault anyway, and was taken to jail kicking and screaming most of the way. She may face other charges as well.
