DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – The state of Michigan is closing down 161 medical marijuana businesses in Detroit. They’re among 210 statewide that received new cease-and-desist letters this week from the Bureau of Medical Marijuana Regulation.
The businesses being shuttered all missed a February 15th deadline to apply with the state to stay open under emergency rules put in place as the state works through how to license dispensaries as part of a new system.
