KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Public Safety is releasing more information on an officer involved crash in the Edison neighborhood.
Officials say three people received minor injuries when an SUV ran a stop sign at the intersection of Bryant and Race Street and collided with a Public Safety Patrol cruiser Wednesday Evening.
The driver of the SUV was ticketed, but won’t face any criminal charges.
The Officer was responding to a non-emergency call, but had the right of way in the intersection.
The PSO, a citizen who was on a ride-along, and the at-fault driver all received treatment for minor injuries.
