KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo City Utilities has lifted the boil water alert in the Westwood Neighborhood along West Main and several side streets.
It was one of the larger areas impacted by a series of water main break in the community in the last few months.
While the water is fine, the work that it took to make those repairs continues to constrict traffic on West Main Avenue. Commuters who use the street will continue to be channeled down a chute of cones for the next few days.
The advisory had included portions of West Main, Fletcher Street, and parts of Sydelle Avenue, Cherry Hill Street, Lauderdale, the Cloisters and The Greenhill Apartments.
