GENEVA TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) –The Van Buren County Road Commission really really really wants drivers to heed warning signs and stay off damaged roads.
They say drivers keep moving barriers and the snow fencing they have used to try to keep drivers off roadways that pose unseen dangers.
Many have had culverts wash out and there is nothing supporting the pavement.
The barriers are put their for the safety of the motoring public, and people are risking their vehicles and possibly their lives by going around them.
Their response on 62nd Street in Geneva Township was to put up four layers of barriers, photograph it and put it on their social media.
