A fraternity at Western Michigan University is camping out to raise money and awareness.
No matter the weather, the brothers of Alpha Tau Omega are holding their 15th annual campus campout hoping to raise $5,000 for Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity.
The fraternity will be camping out for 48 hours straight, night and day, answering questions about the organization, raising awareness, and raising money.
Vice President of ATO Brian Coots says they’ll be by the flag poles on the center of Western’s campus near the Lee Honors College beginning Monday and camping until noon on Wednesday.
Kalamazoo Valley Habitat for Humanity builds, rehabilitates, and repairs homes in Kalamazoo County.
Donations can be dropped at the campout location or made online at habitatkalamazoo.org.
