OTSEGO (WKZO AM/FM) — Otsego Schools reopened Friday, now that an 18-year-old Otsego High School student is facing up to 20-years in prison for allegedly making a terroristic threat.
Police say he told classmates on a bus that he wanted to pull off a school shooting that was worse than the one in Florida.
Peter Trudelle is a Senior, but he may not be one for long, because he could also be expelled after he was formally charged Thursday.
At least 8 local school districts have received similar threats, many of them inspired by the Florida shooting.
A Vicksburg High School student is the latest taken into police custody for posting a threat online. Vicksburg Police worked with the FBI to investigate the threat and trace the source.
That student now could potentially face serious charges.
