ALLEGAN COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) — A suicidal 40-year-old from Wayland Township is in custody after he armed himself with a gun and barricaded himself in a home with a woman and four children early Monday morning.
The Allegan County SWAT team was dispatched and after a short negotiation, they managed to talk him into surrendering without anyone getting hurt.
It was not mentioned in the news release whether the man will be charged or treated, or whether the man was related to the five others at the home near 133rd Avenue and 4th Street.
