KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — One of the biggest complaints of local employers is that they have run out of qualified people to employ.
With the economy near full employment, the competition for workers has increased.
Tuesday the Battle Creek/Kalamazoo United Way, Michigan works and other sponsors will hold a Career-Life-Expo to try to bring together people who want to work with people who want to hire them.
Matthew Lynn with the United Way says they will have 80 employers ready to answer questions, take resumes, do interviews and fill some jobs.
It will run from noon to 4pm at the Wings Event Center on Van Ryck Drive. Bring a resume, or get help to prepare one on-site.
