LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) — The state agency that will be licensing medical marijuana facilities in Michigan has now issued the universal symbol that will be required to appear on any product that contains THC, the active ingredient in grass.
The symbol simply shows a five fingered figure of a marijuana leaf inside a green triangle. The days of selling a baggie with a smiley face on it is over.
The distributor must also must provide a list of information and registration numbers, where it was grown and tested, date of harvest, name of strain, net weight, and concentration of THC or CBD, and other specifications and descriptions.
It must also include the printed warning: “For use by registered qualifying patients only. Keep out of reach of children. It is illegal to drive a motor vehicle while under the influence of marihuana.”
