KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A smoky fire emptied an apartment building early Saturday afternoon, when a dryer in the basement laundry room on Willow Lake Drive in the Parkview Hills complex caught fire.
The flames were contained to a single dryer, clothing was mainly damaged and the dryer will need to be replaced.
Nerves were frayed, but there were no injuries.
