KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A sloppy drug dealer is behind bars in Kalamazoo, probably for the weekend, if not longer.
A Grand Rapids teen who may have been making a marijuana delivery to a customer in Kalamazoo will spend some time at the County Jail after a routine traffic stop at North Park and Hopkins just after 1:oo this morning.
A Kalamazoo Public Safety Sergeant spotted the handgun in the back seat of the vehicle the driver had failed to conceal. A search of the vehicle turned up a quantity of marijuana.
The 19-year-old driver was booked at the jail on multiple gun and drug charges, including possession of a stolen firearm.
