LAWTON (WKZO AM/FM) — A Lawton man may be cited for a harrowing traffic mishap in his home town.
Fire rescue crews had to pry a 22-year-old man from Lawton out of the crushed wreckage of his Honda Civic after Van Buren County
Deputies say he ran a stop sign and was t-boned, the car then pinned against a power pole by a GMC Sierra four-door pickup.
The collision occurred at County Road 657 and 66th avenue in Antwerp Township just before 8pm Friday, knocking out power to several homes in the area.
The at-fault driver was transported to Bronson ER with non-life threatening injuries.
The two people in the pick-up were not injured.
