CLARKSVILLE (WKZO AM/FM) — A gruesome scene along a West Michigan highway in Ionia County where a couple were found dead from shotgun wounds and her 18-year-old daughter was critically wounded.
Police say they found David and Lisa Somers of Kaleva lying dead in the snow alongside their silver Chevy Equinox at about 10 pm Saturday with the doors open and 18-year-old Amedy Dewey still inside the SUV, bleeding from a shotgun wound.
They found the loaded shotgun under David Somer’s body.
The teenager remains in critical but stable condition after emergency surgery.
They are investigating it as a murder/suicide and looking for a motive.
Both David and Lisa Somers were 51-year-old.
