PAW PAW (WKZO AM/FM) — A 28-year-old from Kalamazoo woke up Christmas morning in the Van Buren County Jail after a drug bust in in Almena Township.
Van Buren County deputies stopped his car along M-40 and 36th Avenue because of defective equipment at about 8:30 am Christmas Eve and they could tell right away after conversing with the man that drugs were on board.
A search of the vehicle turned up half a pound of processed Marijuana and various packages of Marijuana Wax
The suspect is currently on probation in Kalamazoo County for a very similar arrest that took place just months ago.
