KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The City of Kalamazoo has now terminated all three boil water alerts issued since the beginning of the holiday weekend.
The alert to use bottled or boiled water on Virginia, Chandler and Mt. Olivet was lifted Sunday after tests showed the water was safe to drink. That warning included Spring Valley Crossing Apartments.
The new alerts were issued for all homes on Foley Street from St. Joseph to the dead end on Kalamazoo’s far south side, and for Texel Avenue between Gertrude and East Main St.
Test showed that water was safe to drink and the alerts lifted on Christmas Day.
