PORTAGE (WKZO AM/FM) — The Portage Police have released their redacted documents from the investigation of the murder of Theresa Lockhart.
The documents also include a copy of his suicide note and the crude but accurate map that led Police to her body buried in the Allegan State Game area, and video from various interviews with Christopher Lockhart that show him lying about what happened or refusing to say anything at all without a lawyer.
He says he was drunk on the night the murder occurred and that he just snapped and strangled her, and then he killed their cats.
The investigation documents also reveal for the first time that he tried dating some of the women he had been having affairs with after her death, having his first liaison with a woman just a week after the murder.
