KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — The organizers of this year’s annual holiday Breadlift for the March of Dimes reports that they raised $23,000 this year.
Over 500 students from Portage Northern and Portage Central, Union/City and Gull Lake High Schools went door to door with loaves of bread on the Saturday before Thanksgiving asking for donations.
This was the 57th annual fundraiser.
