KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Another gun is off the streets of Kalamazoo after a traffic stop turned into a much bigger bust Saturday morning..
PSO Nick Oliver noticed a car driving recklessly in the 3700 block of Cork Street at 3:00 am and initiated a traffic stop.
The Driver, a 25-year-old woman had multiple outstanding warrants, and her 44-year-old male passenger also had an outstanding warrant.
A search of the car revealed open intoxicants, marijuana and loaded pistol.
Additional charges will be sought against both occupants of the car who were booked into the Kalamazoo County Jail on the outstanding warrants.
