GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Just as were cleaning up from the first major snowfall of the season, The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has issued a Winter Weather Advisory.
The Advisory is for Ottawa and Allegan Counties from 9:00 p.m. Friday, December 8 till 9:00 a.m. Saturday, December 9. We’ll see lake effect snow around midnight until just before sunrise Saturday. A total of 3-5 inches is expected with up to 8 inches of snow in localized areas.
Roads will be slippery and visibility sharply reduced.
Most of the significant snowfall will be from midnight till 7:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8.
