KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Township Police say a robbery went down in the parking lot of a business on Sprinkle Avenue Saturday afternoon, but they aren’t telling us everything.
They say the victim of the robbery voluntarily got into the car at about 3:30 pm for a prearranged meeting at Sweetwater’s Donut Mill, and that the 25-year-old knew the three men inside the car.
Police aren’t saying why they were getting together but it apparently wasn’t for donuts.
They also aren’t saying why one of the men inside the car, men the suspect knew, produced a gun and robbed the victim of his cash.
Sgt. Mark Burkett also did not release why the victim required treatment for hand and head cuts either, and whether he is cooperating with police. He was treated at the scene.
