KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM-FM) — Following their own brush with sexual harassment issues because of the resignation of Loy Norrix Principal Rodney Prewitt resignation, Kalamazoo Schools have instituted mandatory training to bring everyone up to speed on proper workplace behavior.
Administrators will undergo the training in four sessions delivered a month apart, to maximize the impact.
Superintendent Michael Rice says the training will be suited to the job posting, and how it’s shaped will depend on who the employee interacts with during the day.
There are probably a lot of other firms in the private sector that are also either introducing such programs or thinking about it given what is happening.
