KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — As they used to say in the old westerns, it was just a flesh wound.
A woman who was nicked in the arm by a flying bullet as she sat in a car just before 9 pm in the 1400 block of north Westnedge Ave. Thursday night, refused treatment.
In fact police had to track the 26-year-old down after receiving a call about a shooting.
Witnesses reported a disturbance between several people in the area prior to hearing gun shots, but apparently detectives were not getting a lot of cooperation.
They have no suspect information.
