PAW PAW TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Van Buren County Deputies are looking for the hit and run driver who smashed in the front end of a parked 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee and kept right on going.
They believe the suspect driver was behind the wheel of a white General Motors passenger car that would now have heavy damage to the two doors and windows on the driver’s side of the vehicle.
They were notified about the Jeep parked at a strange angle along M-55 near 64th Avenue in Paw Paw Township just before 4 am by someone passing by,and believe the collision occurred sometime before that.
There was no one inside the Jeep at the time of the crash.
They have no way of knowing if anyone inside the car was injured.
