(LANSING) (WKZO) – A plea deal has been reached in the case of Larry Nassar. The former Michigan State and USA Gymnastics doctor pleaded guilty to seven counts of criminal sexual conduct in an Ingham County court Wednesday morning.
Nassar faces a minimum of 25 years in prison on each count, but the judge can lengthen that during sentencing. Nassar also faces over 125 civil suits, and federal charges as well.
The state Attorney General’s office issued a statement during the hearing that stated 125 victims contacted about the plea agreement were satisfied with it.
