PORTAGE (WKZO AM/FM) — Portage Police are investigating a two car crash that happened during the noon hour on Monday in the 1500 block of West Centre Avenue.
They say it appears that a 25-year-old Portage woman in a 2013 Ford Escape headed east on Centre Avenue was unable to avoid a collision when a man from Plainwell suddenly turned left at a private drive right into her path.
The SUV hit his Ford Focus in the passenger side door.
The 49-year-old driver of the focus was taken to Bronson Methodist by Ambulance with serious injuries.
