RICHLAND (WKZO AM/FM) — An 18-year-old from Richland Township has been arrested for attempted murder for allegedly stabbing her 87-year-old grandmother.
Kalamazoo County Deputies were dispatched to a home in the 6400 block of North 28th Street just before 8 am Friday on the report of a stabbing.
The elderly woman is reported in stable condition at Borgess Medical Center after being treated for several stab wounds to the face.
The teen also required treatment for minor injuries before she was booked into the Kalamazoo County Jail.
