ORIGINAL STORY:
MUSKEGON (WKZO AM/FM) — A gunman is on the loose, but his three children have been found safe after police triggered an Amber Alert, concerned because he had the three toddlers with him when he allegedly shot their mother in Muskegon Tuesday night.Police are looking for Jaraun Render. It appears to be another case of domestic issues erupting into gunfire.
19-year-old Linda Jamerson and 26-year-old Dejuan Edison were both found bleeding but alive near their bullet riddled SUV outside the Sunny Mart in Muskegon.
She was admitted to a local hospital in critical condition and he was in fair condition, both suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
The Children, aged 1, 2 and 3 were found the next day at their grandmother’s home in Grand Rapids, along with the Burgundy Chevy Suburban that the suspect had been driving.
Warrants have been issued charging the 22-year-old Render with attempted murder and multiple gun felonies. Anyone who knows where he is should call police, he is likely armed and dangerous.
