BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) Battle Creek Police are looking for the unknown male who attempted to snatch a quick thinking ten year old boy from the back yard of his home in the 100 block of Winter Street at about 7:00 Friday evening.
Sgt. Ken Millikin says officers were dispatched and the boy told them that the man grabbed his arm.
The boy says he bit the suspect in his left hand and the man let him go. He was able to run to a neighbor’s house for help.
The suspect reportedly ran south through the yards.
The boy says the man was wearing all dark clothing and a ski mask.
Police are reviewing a neighbor’s surveillance system to get a better look at the suspect.
