KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — A young man suffered a life-threatening wound to the torso when he was shot in the 500 block of Pearl Street in the Vine Neighborhood early Saturday morning.
The first Public Safety Officers on the scene at about 5 am immediately began life-saving measures until EMT’s arrived.
The 20-year-old victim was admitted to Bronson Methodist Hospital in critical condition.
Few other details about the shooting, whether it was intentional, accidental or self-inflicted has not been released.
