BATTLE CREEK (WKZO AM/FM) –It’s hard to imagine a brush fire in weather like we have had this weekend, but that was what Battle Creek firefighters were dispatched to handle at about 5:30 Saturday morning at 337 Country Club Terrace.
They found the fire had spread to the exterior on the front of the home of Bruce Milnes. Damage was limited to the siding and estimated at about $2000.
They say the cause was accidental and there were no injuries reported.
