MOUNT PLEASANT, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The family of a Central Michigan University student killed in a hit and run on this day in 2014 will hold a press conference today along with Michigan State Police.
On the morning of November 1, 2015, Ryan Tsatsos was hit by a vehicle while walking to his Central Michigan University residence hall in Mount Pleasant, MI. The incident occurred on Crawford Road between Billabrail Street and Concourse Drive, south of the main campus. He was walking home from a Halloween party and had phshed a girl out of the way so that she would not be hit.
Ryan’s parents Julie and Paul will make another plea to the community for someone to come forward with information to help solve their case. The Tsatsos are now left with no children as their 19-year-old son Daryl , died in the three-car crash in July of 2016 that is still under investigation.
Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,500 cash reward and the Tsatso family has raised the amount by $7,500 for a total of $10,000 for information to help solve their case. Only tips received through Crime Stoppers that help lead to a felony arrest are eligible for a cash.
