CASS COUNTY (WKZO AM/FM) – A Benton Harbor man has been killed putting farm equipment away for the season at a farm in Cass County.
Deputies say that 69-year-old Roger Molter had just driven a cherry picker into a barn at a farm on Dixon Street in Silver Creek Township Saturday afternoon and was attempting to reposition the equipment when he became pinned between the cherry picker and the wall of the barn.
A family member discovered the accident at about 5:44.
Molter was pronounced dead at the scene. Foul play is not suspected.
