HARTFORD, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A woman from Hartford who has battled cancer three times has launched an online effort to meet Ellen DeGeneres.
27-year-old Amanda Goss says one of the things that has kept her going through her battle is wanting to live fo rher kids and watching the “Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
When Goss was 24 she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She beat it and it has come back at stage four and is now in her spine. In August, Doctors removed a tumor the size of a tennis ball from her brain.
“When I just feel terrible from chemo therapy or the radiation, I would just sit here and watch her and completely forget about the pain.”
If Goss meets Ellen she says she wants to share her message of encouragement and hope for others with cancer and to thank her for always being positive on the air. Goss is a wife and Mother of two.
