KALAMAZOO (WKZO AM/FM) — Michigan’s embattled State Police Director is in Kalamazoo attending a conference of State Police Command Officers at the Radisson Downtown.
It’s closed to the public and the media and they have made it clear that the Col. Kriste Kibbie Etue has already apologized and that’s all she is going to say about the issue.
But it won’t be the last word.
Rep. Sheldon Neeley, the Chair of the Legislative Black Caucus says they want a sit-down with the Etue and the Governor and will continue locking arms during the pledge until they do.
Col. Etue continues to be subject to an internal investigation to determine if she violated the department’s Social media policy for calling athletes who kneel during the anthem, ‘ingrates and degenerates’.
