KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP (WKZO AM/FM) — Kalamazoo Township has become the latest municipal body to endorse the Paris Climate accords, citing our current heat wave and the Hurricanes that have rocked Puerto Rico and the Gulf. Last night’s vote was unanimous.
Clerk Mark Miller, who authored the resolution says he realizes that the Township alone can’t save the planet but he says we all have to dig in and do our part.
The resolution calls on the Township to develop a Climate action plan to further reduce their carbon footprint.
