CASS COUNTY, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — A motorcyclist from Niles was hospitalized after he had to lay his Harley Davidson down to avoid a crash with a Chevy Trailblazer at the intersection of Pokagon Highway and Dailey Road at about 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
Cass County Deputies say 46-year-old Christian Galambos of Hobart, Indiana failed to yield to the biker, 56-year-old Mark Worthham, who rolled across the pavement several times as his motorcycle continued to slide down Pokagon Highway, ended up in a ditch.
Deputies say speed was a factor in the crash.
Wortham was wearing a helmet. His condition was not released.
