DEARBORN (WKZO-AM/FM) — AAA Michigan says gas prices continue to fall after two hurricanes sent prices soaring this month.
Pump prices fell about 12 cents in the last week to an average statewide price of $2.42 a gallon.
Trilby Lundberg’s National survey has dropped seven cents in the last two weeks on average.
Lundberg said more refineries are working again after Hurricane Harvey hit the Gulf Coast, and the gas shortages created by Hurricane Irma in Florida have eased.
The average in Kalamazoo early Tuesday is $2.32, according to GasBuddy.com.
