LANSING (WKZO AM/FM) — President Donald Trump misspelled may have his name, but still endorsed Bill Schuette for governor in a tweet over the weekend.
Schuette announced his bid to replace Gov. Rick Snyder last week.
As current Michigan Attorney General, the polls show Schuette is the frontrunner for the Republican nomination and is running neck-and-neck with Democrat Gretchen Whitmer.
Schuette seemed excited about it, tweeting his thanks for Trump’s “strong support.”
